Conducting
I have guest conducted professional, community, and student ensembles on stages around the U.S. and in Europe, South America, and Asia. I enjoy working with each ensemble and take great pride in selecting repertoire appropriate to the occasion and musicians.
Clinics and Workshops
I’ve presented clinics at conferences and for organizations from state to international levels, and these are some of my most requested topics: Using Score Preparation to Rehearse Efficiently; A Conductor’s Approach to Interpreting Transcriptions for Band; Women in Music; and Leadership.
Private Lessons
I provide private lessons, coachings, and consultations online and in person on conducting technique, score study, repertoire and programming.
Studio Pedagogy
I offer online instruction on how to teach private lessons and run a studio business based on the studio pedagogy course I teach at Juilliard. Topics include marketing, teaching strategies, curriculum, plans, repertoire, practicing, teaching philosophy, and studio policies.
